The London and South East Alumni Group

The London Group continues to be one of the largest, most vibrant and successful of the Henley Alumni Groups. In late 2011 the committee reviewed the vision and mission statements. During the review the statements were updated and were formally released at the AGM held on the 23rd January 2012.

Vision Statement: A future where there is a strong sense of pride, professionalism and personal sense of involvement from the Henley London and South East Alumni membership who actively participate in, look forward to, and regularly diarise events that are diverse, engaging and covering the broader challenges that face business leaders.

Mission Statement: To bring together fellow alumni bound by the Henley heritage in order to strengthen relationships between members themselves and with the School, through regular formal and social events that are enjoyable, helpful, and build on our reputation for excellence in the London and South East area.

We are driven by these directional statements. The London and South East group continues to serve its membership through a mixture of formal and informal events. So be sure to look out for and diarise our events.

For International alumni who may visit London from time to time, we extend an invitation to join our group and participate in our events to take advantage of the extensive Henley Business School network in this part of the UK.

Membership

As you know, all ex-students of the Business School are now automatically part of the main Henley International Alumni Association. Membership of the London & South East Alumni Group is open to those who live and/or work in London/Greater London/South East and also those who may find it more convenient to attend events in London. We meet at a central London location usually, although not always, at the Athenaeum Club SW1. There is a membership fee of £10.00 per annum, which entitles members to a price reduction on each event they attend. Greenlands members who already have a £10.00 standing order in place do not need to replace it.

There are at least four reasons why you should become a member:

  • It will help support the group financially and enable us to continue to raise the profile of the Business School and its alumni;
  • You will get a saving on each event attended;
  • You will get priority booking;
  • Membership will guarantee that you remain on our invitation list for future events.
  • London & South East Alumni Group Standing Order Mandate (PDF)

We will then add your name to our mailing list. This way you will be kept informed on all events/meetings/news associated with the group.
