The Henley Pioneers
Supporting world-class management & leadership
The Henley Pioneers are members of Henley's global alumni network who hold in common a commitment to securing the School's position as a world leader in the delivery of business and management education on the global stage.
As a Pioneer you would gain access to a group of some of Henley's most high profile and successful alumni as well as be invited to special events with faculty and the Dean both at Greenlands and in London. There are also opportunities to build relationships with the University Pioneer networks at events throughout the year.
Your Pioneer gift, unless specifically directed, will help enable talented businesspeople to join the growing Henley Business School community where they will be inspired and empowered to advance, achieve and excel as you have done.
March 2012 - Some Henley Pioneers recently attended Donor Day, which included a lunch hosted by Sir David Bell, Vice Chancellor of the University of Reading. There was an opportunity for them to meet Miss Hlongwane (recipient of the Alumni Fund Bursary), and speak to her about her Henley experience. Miss Hlongwane was delighted to be able to say thank you to the Henley Pioneers. Read more about The Henley Pioneers and Donor Day.
A gift to the Business School of £1,000 or more each year is considered to be a Pioneer gift.
Making your gift more manageable
A Pioneer gift does not have to be made in a lump-sum. Gifts can be made in both quarterly and monthly instalments. The table below illustrates the size of regular instalment required to make Pioneer gifts of up to £5,000, based on the donation being eligible for Gift Aid (if you are a UK taxpayer).
