Full-time MBA Scholarships and Bursaries 2016

We have a number of scholarships and bursaries available to support outstanding applicants for our Full-time MBA in 2016.

Henley Business School Full-time MBA Scholarships 2016

Subject

A scholarship is financial support awarded by an academic institution to a student on the basis of academic merit. A key consideration in our selection of Scholarship awards will therefore be the degree to which we believe the candidate will make a significant contribution to the quality of the Henley MBA programme.

Criteria

Candidates must hold an unconditional offer for the September 2016 intake of the Full-time MBA programme. We are looking for exceptional candidates who will add considerable value to the programme based on an outstanding academic or professional background. Applicants will be considered based on the strength of their MBA application, including the essay question and the interview. 

Scholarships are awarded by an academic panel of Henley Business School whose decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

Several awards are available including two x 100% awards. Scholarships cannot be transferred to another intake if a student chooses to defer their entry.

Applicants holding a full unconditional offer of a place on the Henley Full-time MBA for 2016 will automatically be considered for a scholarship (if they have indicated their interest on the application form). Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis, therefore applicants are advised to submit their full programme application with all supporting documents as early as possible and by 30 June 2016 at the latest if they wish to be considered for a scholarship.

Henley Business School Full-time MBA Bursaries 2016

Subject

A bursary provides financial assistance to a student whose personal circumstances demonstrate the need for financial support.

Criteria

Candidates must hold an unconditional offer for the September 2016 intake of the Full-time MBA programme. To be considered for a bursary, there is a section on the application form for candidates to state their financial need and awards are decided based on both the strength of the applicant and their individual circumstances.

Bursaries are awarded by a faculty panel at Henley Business School and their decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

A number of awards between 15% and 50% of the programme fees for 2016 are available. Bursaries cannot be transferred to another intake if a student chooses to defer their entry.

GREAT/Henley Scholarship - India 2016

Subject

GREAT scholarships-India is a joint programme part funded through GREAT funds and contributions made by UK universities. Henley Business School is proud to work in partnership with the British Council - GREAT Scholarship India Campaign to support candidates from India.

Criteria

To be eligible for consideration for this scholarship you must:

  • be a national of (or permanently domiciled in) India AND
  • hold an offer of a place on the Full-time MBA programme commencing in September 2016.

Applicants will be considered based on the strength of their MBA application, including the essay question and the interview.

Scholarships are awarded by an academic panel of Henley Business School whose decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

Finance

As part of the GREAT/Henley scholarships - India Scheme, Henley Business School will be offering one scholarship worth £15,000.

Scholarships cannot be transferred to another intake if a student chooses to defer their entry.

Applicants meeting the above criteria and holding a full unconditional offer of a place on the Henley Full-time MBA for 2016 will automatically be considered (if they have indicated their interest on the application form). Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis therefore applicants are advised to submit their full programme application with all supporting documents as early as possible and by 30th June 2016 at the latest if they wish to be considered.

Henley Alumni Fund Bursary Full-time MBA

Subject

The philanthropic support of the Henley Alumni community, including the MBA Graduating Class Gifts, has created a 50% bursary for the Full Time MBA programme which commences in September 2016.

The bursary will be awarded to an applicant who can demonstrate significant financial need, who will contribute to the diversity and experience of the MBA cohort and who will support the aims and objectives of Henley Business School. A consideration of the wider impact of your MBA on graduating will also be taken into account.

Criteria

To be considered for this bursary, you will need to:

- Have a confirmed place on the Full Time MBA programme commencing in September 2016
- Demonstrate a strong financial need (proof required)
- Illustrate how you will make a positive contribution to the programme and how you plan to use the knowledge and skills of the MBA.

To apply, please download the application form and return it to us along with your supporting statement of no more than 800 words, with details of how you meet the entry criteria plus any additional supporting information.

Bursary applications will be considered by the Henley Alumni Fund's Disbursements Panel at Henley Business School whose decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

Candidates will be informed of the outcome of their application by 01 August 2016.

Finance

1 award of £16,500 is available which covers 50% of the programme fees.

The Bursary recipient will be expected to meet the costs of the remainder of the fees including travel and accommodation. The exact financial value of the bursary will be determined by the panel.

The Panel will only consider applicants who are self-funded and not due to receive financial support by their organisation or any other financial sponsorship.

Bursaries cannot be transferred to another intake or mode of study.

Applicants will need to hold a full unconditional offer of a place on the Henley Full Time MBA for September 2016 in order to be considered. Executive MBA Scholarships and Bursaries 2016

We have a number of scholarships and bursaries available for the Executive MBA October 2016 intake.

Henley Business School Executive MBA Scholarships 2016

Subject

A scholarship is financial support awarded by an academic institution to a student on the basis of academic merit. A key consideration in our selection of Henley’s Executive MBA Scholarship awards will therefore be the degree to which we believe the candidate will make a significant contribution to the quality of the Henley MBA programme.

Criteria

It is likely that award winners will have a PhD, Master’s degree, or either a UK first-class Honours Degree or its international equivalent from a reputable, leading University or academic institution. Applicants will be considered based on the strength of their MBA application, including the essay question and the interview. Scholarships are awarded by an academic panel of Henley Business School and their decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

A number of awards between 15% and 50% of the programme fees for 2016 are available. Scholarships cannot be transferred to another intake if a student chooses to defer their entry.

Henley Business School Executive MBA Bursaries 2016

Subject

A bursary provides financial assistance to a student who meets specific eligibility criteria set by the Henley Business School faculty and whose personal circumstances demonstrate the need for financial support. In addition, a limited number of bursaries are made available to students from specific target categories of students who bring diversity to the MBA programme at Henley.

Criteria

Candidates must hold an unconditional offer for the October 2016 intake of the Executive MBA programme. To be considered for a bursary, there is a section on the application form for applicants to state their financial need.

Bursaries are awarded by a faculty panel at Henley Business School and their decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

Finance

A number of awards between 15% and 50% of the programme fees for 2016 are available and are decided based on both the strength of the applicant and their individual circumstances. Bursaries cannot be transferred to another intake if a student chooses to defer their entry.

The 30% Club Women in Leadership Scholarship

Description

In partnership with the 30% Club and Financial Times we are delighted to again be offering our prestigious Women in Leadership Scholarship competition. The winner will receive a fully-funded place on the Executive or Flexible Executive MBA programme starting in September/October 2016.

Criteria

Applicants can enter this scholarship competition before they have applied for the MBA programme, but must be eligible for the programme (three years management experience and a good first degree). The winner will be expected to formally apply for the programme within two weeks of being notified of their award. Up to ten finalists will be shortlisted and the winner will be decided by a panel of judges whose decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

1 x 100% award on the Executive or Flexible Executive MBA. Scholarships cannot be transferred to a later intake if a student decides to defer their entry.

21 or 30 months

Closing date

5pm on 07 June 2016. The winner will be notified by the end of June.

Flexible Executive MBA Scholarships and Bursaries 2016

We have a number of scholarships and bursaries available for the Flexible Executive MBA in 2016.

Henley Business School Flexible Executive MBA Scholarships September 2016

A key consideration in our selection of Henley's Flexible Executive MBA Scholarship awards will therefore be the degree to which we believe the candidate will make a significant contribution to the quality of the Henley MBA programme.

Criteria

Candidates must hold an unconditional offer for the September 2016 intake of the Flexible Executive MBA programme. We are looking for exceptional candidates who will add considerable value to the programme based on an outstanding academic or professional background. 

Scholarships are awarded by an academic panel of Henley Business School whose decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

Henley Business School Flexible Executive MBA Bursaries September 2016

Subject

An MBA bursary provides financial assistance to a student who meets specific eligibility criteria set by the Henley Business School faculty and whose personal circumstances demonstrate the need for financial support. In addition, a limited number of bursaries are made available to students from specific target categories who will bring diversity to the MBA programme at Henley.

Criteria

Candidates must hold an unconditional offer for the September 2016 intake of the Flexible Executive MBA programme. Applicants may apply based on one of the following categories:

  • Applicants who bring knowledge and experience regarding international business and management, in particular in emergent markets and/or in culturally diverse settings.
  • Applicants employed by an organisation within the non-profit/voluntary sector that makes a contribution to improve the personal or social experiences of communities or individuals.
  • Applicants who currently work in small- to medium-sized organisations or head their own organisation.
  • Applicants from any industry or background who are able to demonstrate highly valuable business or individual experience which would contribute to team learning.

Bursary applications are considered by a faculty panel at Henley Business School whose decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants. Candidates who are awarded a bursary will be notified by email; those who have not been awarded a bursary will not be notified.
