The Henley Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is a professional doctoral degree designed to enhance executive and professional practice.
It is designed to strengthen both the capability to develop knowledge and theory, and also the application of it.
The Henley Doctor of Business Administration programme will be of particular benefit to experienced senior executives, consultants, management educators and business school academics.

The Henley DBA is a flexible programme, ideal for those who wish to combine their studies with a full-time occupation. It will enable you, as a research associate, to:

Entry requirements
Applicants seeking to enter the MSc and DBA programme will normally be expected to hold a masters degree in the area of business or management together with at least five years' relevant experience. Candidates wishing to transfer from the MSc to the DBA programme will require an average of 60% in the MSc (and 60% on the Research Proposal element). Where an applicant has an existing Masters qualification in research, such as an MPhil or MRes, typically with a 'merit' pass or equivalent, it may be possible to join the DBA stage directly.
Applying for the Henley Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
To apply for the Henley DBA please complete the application form and provide the required documents including, one business reference and one academic reference.
The normal route for entry to the Doctor of Business Administration programme would be to register for the MSc in Business and Management Research which commences in October each year.
Applications should be received by the 30th of June for the October intake each year. Later applications will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
University of Reading Alumni will receive a 10% reduction in fees for the MSc part of the programme.
