Business Informatics, Systems and Accounting

Business Informatics, Systems and Accounting is one of six academic areas within Henley Business School. We integrate socio-technical thinking and interdisciplinary expertise in information management, business processes and systems, accounting and finance.

Two research centres are based within BISA :

The Informatics Research Centre (IRC)  - Informatics is defined as 'the study of the creation, management and utilisation of information in scientific and economic activities.'

The Governance, Accountability & Responsible Investment (GARI) Research Centre (launched 2013) - aims to provide a forum for international collaborative research into the broad area of governance with a specific focus on accountability.

There is also a thriving PhD programme with 30 plus doctoral researchers.

Taught by world-renowned faculty, programmes feature a vibrant mix of industry knowledge and academic excellence.  BISA works closely with top international industry and academic partners to deliver a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Our partners and customers include Beijing Institute of Technology, Renmin University of China, PwC, CapGemini and Deutsche Telekom.
