Women leading change
Women leading change is a course for women seeking next leadership challenge and/or promotion. The event aims at preparing women for transformational change for them, their team and organisation. The course is planned to take place over stages: 24-25 June 2019 (stage I), 24th September, 7 November and 9 December 2019 (stage II).
Levaraging Cultural Diversity
Leveraging cultural diversity is an event focused on leadership of culturally diverse teams, held at the Henley Business School, Greenlands Campus on 24 October 2019.
Gender and Women’s empowerment, rhetoric or reality?
The event comprises guest speaker talks interspersed with lively and engaging activities, discussions and panel debates. The event will take place on at 9.30-15.45 on 26th June 2019, at the Institute of Education. The event is free, but requires a registration. Please register here
Henley Centre for Leadership. The Board of 2030 Dinner Debate
The event is taking place on 5th June 2019 at the Greenlands Campus, Henley-on-the-Thames.
Using a dinner-debate format, The Board of 2030, will explore prevailing approaches to diversity and inclusion, alongside ideas, practices and experiences of people currently leading the required change. By bringing together a possible ‘ideal’ Board of 2030, we want to examine the diversity of this Board and, through the debate, explore the journey from 2019 to 2030
Wolfenden Lecture. Jake and Hannah Graf. OUR TRANS LIFES: life, love and Lorraine
The event is taking place on 16th May at 19:00-20:00 in G11, Henley Business School. It is named in memory of Lord Wolfenden, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Reading from 1950 to 1964. Embedding Diversity and Inclusion into the Way We Work
Embedding diversity and inclusion into the way we work event was held on 31 January 2019, Henley Business School, Whiteknights Campus. An integral part of the event formed a photographic gallery of diversity exhibited in the foyer of the Henley Business School at Whiteknights Campus.
The photographic gallery of diversity project was created with an intention to explore workplace community and capture a visual snapshot of diversity within Henley Business School. The inspiration came from an interest in promoting diversity, equality and inclusion within a workplace. The photographs showcase members of the Henley Business School community, staff and students. They portray personalities, attitudes, identity, interests, hobbies and individual characteristics. The photographs were displayed as part of Embedding Diversity and Inclusion into the Way we Work event at Whiteknights Campus, organised by Henley Business School and largely sponsored by the University of Reading.

The Changing Role of Women in Business is an annual event, held at the Business School, where professional women share their insights on life as a female leader in business.
