Graduating Class Gift

Graduating Class Gift of 2016

The Graduating Class Gift is an opportunity for graduating MBAs to come together and support their business school, cementing their ongoing relationship with Henley and their commitment to business education. As they take the skills and experiences gained at the School into their own organisations and communities, they will also enable others to benefit from the Henley experience and education, irrespective of their financial situation.

In the four years that the Graduating Class Gift has run, over £62,000 has been pledged towards the Henley Alumni Fund and about 20% of graduates support the initiative within a year of graduating.

The Henley Alumni Fund was founded in 2010 through the generosity of our alumni and since then it has offered bursaries and established a Hardship Fund to help students who face significant financial difficulty.

Now in its fifth year, the Henley Business School Graduating Class Gift of 2016 (PDF) has been set the challenge of beating Last year's fundraising total with as many classmates as possible choosing to support by making a gift or pledge to the Henley Alumni Fund.

‘I was incredibly fortunate to win a full scholarship to do my Exec MBA at Henley. Awards such as these are possible thanks to the generosity of previous classes who have donated to the Henley Alumni Fund through their own Graduating Class Gifts. For me it is imoortant to contribute to our Graduating Class Gift, as a way of giving something back, so that someone else will benefit as I did."’

‘For me Henley has been life-changing, it helped me to develop personally and professionally. The Business School’s continued commitment to help students though bursaries and scholarships enables other students to benefit from this world-class education. I have chosen to donate so that others can share the unique experience that I have been privileged to be part of.’

‘I personally received financial support from the Henley Alumni Fund, which enabled me to successfully complete my MBA. It also inspired me to do something in return for the fund, which will help someone like me in the future. Supporting our Graduating Class Gift is one small step forward, and I hope that you will join me in giving back to Henley.’
