Leaving A Legacy
Leaving a Gift to Henley Business School
A legacy is one of the most simple and flexible ways of giving and your gift will help others benefit from the cutting-edge academic research and world-class learning experience that Henley Business School offers.
Whether these funds go towards funding bursaries, a prize fund in your name or refurbishing a well used syndicate room, they will make a significant impact.
With more support from legacies to the Henley Alumni Fund or directly to bursaries, we hope to ensure we are able to help those who really need the financial assistance required every year and on every programme.
How to include Henley Business School in your will
If you are making a new will you may find our rough guide on making a will (PDF Link< – link required here>) helpful. However, this is not a substitute for professional legal advice, which we would strongly advise.
If you would like to amend your existing will to include Henley Business School, please simply complete this Codicil Form (PDF Link<– link required here>) and take it to your solicitor.
Letter of wishes
A letter of wishes is not a legal document and, unlike a will, it does not automatically become publicly accessible after your death. This document is a letter addressed to your executors that expresses your wishes. In many cases, a letter of wishes will become the most important practical tool to assist the executors and trustees in reaching early decisions and for managing family affairs. Sometimes a letter of wishes is used to express the testator’s views, or to explain their actions and decisions.
We have produced some guidance notes on producing a letter of wishes (PDF Link<– link required here>) to help you.
