Henley is a leading provider of coach training, coaching research and professional development. We are keen to encourage, support and recognise work across our field. The Annual Awards are an opportunity to identify ground-breaking coaching research and writing, as well as outstanding contributions to the field.
The Annual Awards are divided into three categories and are open to nominations between 1 January and 1 September each year. Individuals, publishers and researchers may nominate their own or others work. The Henley team will review nominations and make a selection based on what they considered to be outstanding work in each category. Such nominations should include a published version of the book or article.
The awards are presented at our annual coaching conference.
This year the Conference is taking place on Tuesday 29 September.
Current Coaching Centre Associates, employees and others linked to Henley are excluded from these awards.
Coaching Book of the Year
This award is for a coaching book published in the previous calendar year that, in the view of the Henley Coaching team, has made a significant and positive contribution to the field.
Coaching Research Paper of the Year
This award is for a coaching research paper published in the previous calendar year that, in the view of the Henley Coaching team, has made a significant and positive contribution to the field.
Outstanding Contribution to Coaching
This award is for a member of the coaching community – researcher, practitioner or thought leader – who has made a significant and sustained contribution to the development of the coaching profession, coaching research, coach training or practice.
