Careers - Business, Informatics, Management and Accounting students

Current Student Support

The Careers Team recognise that one-size does not fit all when it comes to careers support. All our students have their own individual needs, we therefore work closely with our academic & administrative colleagues to deliver bespoke support for each department – with one clear aim: enabling and empowering our students towards achieving success in their careers.
Our aim at Henley Careers is to empower and enable you to leave the Business School confident in being able to progress your career forward successfully.

What can you do with our service?

Meet with a Career Consultant – book in with your careers consultant on MyJobsOnline to discuss any careers-related topic. We will support you in gaining a better understanding of what really matters for you personally, how you can plan your career autonomously, or assist you in making tough decisions at times of uncertainty. We can also take a quick look at your CV / application or assist you with improving your interview and assessment performance.

Sign up to a Careers Workshop – We offer a range of workshops to all Henley students to discover insights into different industries and job functions. We also have workshops to help you build your self-awareness and develop your personal skills as well as get practical hints and tips on job application and assessment. Go to MyJobsOnline to see the programme of events.

Attend timetabled Careers Teaching – attend teaching sessions specifically timetabled for you. Topics have been tailored to support those of you preparing to apply for graduate positions or separately for those of you with previous work experience and seeking employment as an experienced candidate.

Network at employer events – attend The Monday Night Employer Panel events when various employers will be on site to talk to you about their companies, industries and opportunities, and answer your questions. See upcoming topics in our brochure and book your place on MyJobsOnline.
