We are delighted to inform you about the third annual Brittelstand Symposium and to invite you to register your interest to attend our biggest event of the calendar year, the Brittelstand Symposium, which is to be held on 19th September 2018 at Henley Business School’s Greenlands campus.
Co-hosted by Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business United, the Brittelstand Symposium is an invitation-only forum where business leaders of mid-sized companies learn about and discuss the pressing issues facing businesses today. The Symposium features an impressive line-up of high profile keynote and breakout session panel speakers.
Delegates can choose to attend four of the eight 40 minute breakout sessions across the day, with each one will covering topics including: Building a Powerful Business Intelligence System, Expanding Internationally, Boosting Productivity, Scaling Your Business, Embracing Marketing Technologies, Accessing Patient Capital, Protecting Your Business by Bolstering Cybersecurity and People Make the Difference.
We have assembled over 30 senior executives to speak at the Symposium and are particularly thrilled to have secured five high profile keynote speakers - Stephen Martin, Director General of Institute of Directors, Keith Morgan, CEO of the British Business Bank, Gavin Oldham OBE, Founder and Chairman of Share Plc and The Share Foundation, Cindy Rose, CEO of Microsoft UK, and Karen Blackett OBE, WPP UK Country Manager, Chairwoman of MediaCom and Business Ambassador for Department for International Trade to No. 10.

Stephen Martin, Director General, IOD
Stephen brings first-rate experience from a range of esteemed appointments and affiliations including the Chair of the Lincolnshire branch of the Chartered Institute of Building, Chief Executive of Barhale Construction and CEO of Clugston Construction. Stephen also took part in Channel 4’s Undercover Boss in 2008 and joined Hull University Business School international advisory board in 2015.
He became Director General of the Institute of Directors in February 2017. As the public face of the IoD and the most senior representative of the membership, Stephen is a powerful voice for UK business in the media, as well as across government, Whitehall, and the wider political community.
