‘Building e-competencies for business growth’ Speakers' Panel

Building an e-competent workforce with strong e-leadership is seen as something SMEs need to do to succeed in today's increasingly digital and competitive world. Successful SMEs, in particular those in the technology sector point to having an e-competent workforce and see this to be crucial for business growth.

The EU has highlighted in its communication ‘e-Skills for the 21st Century: Fostering Competitiveness, Growth and Jobs’ that e-skills including e-leadership skills are crucial for businesses seeking to be competitive and grow.

This event brings together SMEs which have built an e-competent workforce and leadership which are driving growth to share their story and provide insights into aspects from recruiting e-skilled talent and training in e-skills to use of the internet and harnessing new technologies for competitive advantage.
