Description

How can you stay out of your client’s way so they can find their own unique and creative answers? Clean language is a coaching approach that reduces unconscious bias through questions ‘cleansed’ of the coach’s own perspective and opinion.

This event will demonstrate how these simple questions quickly transport the coachee to a deeper, more creative state of awareness, from where they can use their inner imagination to construct new understandings and make changes. You will take away a checklist for being more ‘clean’ and a simple set of clean language questions to use at the beginning, middle and end of a coaching session.

Who Should Attend?

This event is suitable for coaches of all abilities and experience. For the novice it provides a framework to stay non-directive and ask skilful questions. For the experienced coach it can provide a refreshingly simple (yet not easy) style of coaching to complement other tools and techniques already in use. The only requirement is that you must be prepared to let go of your own map of the world and welcome other perspectives.

Angela Dunbar

Angela is an accredited coach, supervisor and former council member with the Association for Coaching. With a first class psychology degree and Master NLP practitioner status, Angela’s passion is clean language: a powerful non-directive facilitation process that engages non-conscious resources through metaphors coachees use to describe their experience.

Since 2005, Angela has taught ‘clean’ techniques through the Clean Coaching Centre. Angela is author of Essential Life Coaching Skills and Clean Coaching: The Insider Guide to Making Change Happen.

“There are many skilled practitioners, but not all have the ability to transfer their skill to the training arena. Angela has both. She is a highly skilled practitioner and an extremely experienced facilitator and trainer. Her workshops are informative and extremely well run. Thank you.”
Rachel Watson, Wellbeing Coach, Wirral.
