Developing e-Leaders: The Skills Agenda for an Innovative and Competitive Europe

Henley Business School will host this European Commission Regional Cluster Event to be held on Tuesday 3 June 2014 at Henley Business School, UK.

Henley Business School will host this European Commission Regional Cluster Event to be held on Tuesday 3 June 2014 at Henley Business School, UK. It is one of a total of 10 events organised by the European Commission in cities across the entire European Union.

There is a growing demand throughout European industry to improve the quality of e-leadership, which is needed to provide organisation leadership of ICT innovation to deliver business value.

Research has confirmed a significant shortage of e-leadership skills across Europe. Although primarily targeted at innovative employers, CIOs and their associations, presentations will also be of great interest to universities and business schools as well as to policy-makers interested in promoting innovation.

The objective of the event is to gain a common understanding which will inform and encourage new e-leadership programme offerings.

Henley was invited to participate in the European Commission e-Leadership research because of its expertise and reputation in developing and delivering e-leadership programmes. Professor Sharm Manwani, the conference chair, directs the following programmes aimed at developing e-leaders:

  • Master's in Enterprise Information Management with Deutsche Telekom
  • Developing Capability in Business Design with PA Consulting
  • Professional Programme in Business and Enterprise Architecture with EuroCIO

Participation is by personal invitation. Please contact henleyevents@henley.ac.uk if you would like to learn more about the event.
