Description

This event will help you understand the value of unconditional acceptance of self and others in the establishment of trust, collaboration, inclusion and high performance in your leadership and management teams. It examines and demonstrates how the active presence of Love can unleash their potential for high performance in an ever changing and unpredictable world.

Using a variety of tools and methods, and drawing from the world of business and community, the event will provide you with thought provoking insights and ready to apply practices.These will enable you as a leader to leave with an action plan to strengthen your relationships with your stakeholders, motivate your people and establish an environment in which your people can produce extraordinary results.

Key learning outcomes

By the end of the event you will:

  • Have a clear understanding of what it means to be in alignment, and how to ensure your actions are in alignment with your purpose and intentions
  • Have a clear method for aligning your team and stakeholders
  • Have learnt a technique and model that can be called upon in strengthening your relationship with yourself, your direct reports, your team and other stakeholders
  • Understand what it takes to establish an environment of trust in your working relationships and have an insight into behaviours and practices that build trust
  • Have an increased understanding of the capabilities you have to align your people behind you and the tools with which to further strengthen these capabilities
  • Be able to generate ideas on how you can, as a leader, establish an environment in which your people can feel able to be themselves, without judgment and prejudice
  • Have developed an action plan that is specific to you and ready to be implemented on your journey to develop the strength of relationship with your team, yourself and your stakeholders
  • Explored the value of the active presence of love in business

Event Content and Delivery Style

The style of delivery will be one in which all of the participants will be treated as leaders. It will be challenging, thought-provoking and supportive. Practical insights will be shared and elicited from the participants.

There will be some unconventional inserts in the workshop, such as a guided meditation, and models will be demonstrated that participants can take away for immediate application to self and team.

There will also be facilitated discussion and group work where participants will be encouraged to share their own experiences and insights, as well as to learn from the experiences and insights of others.

It will be interactive and thought provoking, with participants encouraged to share from their own personal experiences in the world of work.

Yetunde Hofmann

Yetunde has delivered commercially successful change leadership interventions in organisations like Unilever, Imperial Tobacco Plc, Prudential Plc and Northern Foods Plc. The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and Allied Domecq. Yetunde is also an internationally accredited Integral Development Coach and focuses on whole person and whole team-centered leadership development. A classically trained pianist, Yetunde sits on a number of boards including the CIPD, John Lewis/Waitrose Golden Jubilee Trust and Compassion UK international, and has through experience, confirmed that with the presence of Love, Leadership and Results a business can deliver extraordinary results.

Professor Kevin Money

Kevin Money

Kevin is a Chartered Psychologist and Director of the John Madejski Centre for Reputation. Kevin teaches on the MBA programme and Henley’s flagship Advanced Management Programme in areas of reputation, responsibility, teams and leadership. Kevin is also Director of the Positive Psychology Forum – an organisation that applies advances in psychology to help individuals and organisations improve their performance through a process of reflection on success and failure. Interventions include high-performance coaching, organisational and personal 360-degree feedback and behavioural mapping.
