Henley Forum 16th Annual Conference, 24 and 25 February 2016
Making a difference through knowledge and learning
This year we are celebrating over 15 years of making a difference through organisational learning and knowledge strategies. Our February 2016 Annual Conference celebrates this heritage and focuses on the future.
CONFERENCE THEMES
There are two themes permeating this year’s conference:
- Learning from an emerging future: what’s on the horizon for knowledge and learning professionals? In an ever changing working world where today is unlike yesterday and tomorrow is a foreign land, being able to exploit existing knowledge is still necessary but it is not sufficient. Organisations need to learn quickly from the emerging future in order to be both resilient and agile.
- Joining the dots: making more of a difference with knowledge and learning Knowledge plays such a big part in improving organisational performance that departments outside the KM team are developing their own ways to contribute to the knowledge and learning agenda. We believe that a rich variety of views and approaches to knowledge and learning offer greater value. But to really make a difference they have to connect or people get overwhelmed by change initiatives. This theme will help us to explore how we might get to a joined up approach between the different interests.
