Embedding resilience

Resilience – the ability to bounce back from difficult experiences - is an essential capability for dynamic organisations. Our second event for 2016/17 explores this important theme to help you develop new actionable insights. Join us to explore how you can embed resilience in your organisation. View full Agenda.

We will share ideas, experiences and tools through a range of speaker and workshop sessions. Helping you to enhance performance and unlock potential in your own organisations.

In brief:

Dr Sharon Varney will warm up your thinking on today’s theme. Prof. Jill Flint-Taylor, a recognised thought leader on resilience in organisations, will then introduce you to research-based frameworks and practical methods to help strengthen the resilience of individuals and groups. Johnny Jensen from Nordea Bank will tackle the topic of technostress – he’ll explain what it is, what we know about it, and what his research aims to discover. In our regular feature – Developing your toolkit - Chris Collison will focus on learning before doing and the peer assist process. Christine Astaniou from the Financial Conduct Authority will lead our Members’ Showcase session. And we will round off the day with an opportunity for you to explore how conversation can contribute to organisational resilience in an interactive Knowledge Café hosted by David Gurteen. Plus, in our NEW regular feature, Dr Christine Van Winkelen will offer some signposts to help you navigate Henley Forum content related to today’s theme.
