Referencing his own global research and hearing from high-profile board experts, sessions examine risk, morals and ethics, assessment of board performance and the invaluable role of the company secretary.
During the programme, you will discover how to navigate through sensitive and demanding board dilemmas to win the trust of investors, customers, the organisation and other stakeholders. The programme also explores how to use search consultants to secure a board position.
The programme is both in-person at Greenlands Campus and live-online; both delivery formats offer a personal approach including close interaction with the Programme Director. The live-online version, is delivered through a virtual one-to-one coaching session.
Professor Andrew Kakabadse has consulted and lectured throughout the world. His areas of interest include the performance of top executives, teams and boards, excellence in consultancy practice, and corporate governance.
He has undertaken global studies spanning over 20,000 organisations across 41 countries in the areas of board performance, leadership and policy delivery.
He has also published 45 books and over 250 scholarly articles, including bestsellers such as The Politics of Management, Working in Organisations, The Success Formula and Leadership Intelligence: The 5Qs.
He has consulted with the British, Irish, Australian, Omani, UAE and Saudi Arabian governments, as well as organisations including Citi, Bank of America, BMW, Ford, NatWest Bank, RBS, British Airways, Lufthansa, Swedish Post, Severstal (Russia), Heidrick and Struggles, KPMG, Bank of Ireland, Royal Ulster Constabulary and numerous others. He has been an advisor to certain UN agencies, the World Bank, charities and to health and police organisations.
