Inspiring Employees to Deliver Winning Performance

Using an appropriate mix of theory, research and case studies, this event will focus on the importance of effective leadership communication in the 21st century workplace and the role of leaders in cultivating a communicative culture.

In a recent article, the leading neuroscientist Dr David Rock suggests that organisations have hired and promoted managers with robust analytical skills but poor social skills. From global research involving 60,000 managers, he found that less than 1% of the highest performing leaders and managers are reasonably strong in both areas, concluding that a lack of interpersonal skills is behind some of the biggest challenges in organisations.

Using an appropriate mix of theory, research and case studies, this event will focus on the importance of effective leadership communication in the 21st century workplace and the role of leaders in cultivating a communicative culture.
