JMCR Strengths-Based Leadership Conference 11th June 2014

On Wednesday the 11th June the John Madejski Centre for Reputation (JMCR) is running a one-day conference exploring the foundations of successful leadership across a number of sectors, building in part upon research undertaken with the Clore Duffield Foundation. With confirmed speakers from the arts, third sector, business and sports, including Thomas Meyer the Chief Operating Officer of Lotus F1, the conference aims to co-create an international community of interest, where leaders from varied sectors can learn from each other, improving performance in their own sectors and across society.

On Wednesday the 11th June the John Madejski Centre for Reputation (JMCR) of the Henley Business School is running a one-day conference exploring the foundations of successful leadership across a number of sectors. With confirmed speakers from the arts, third sector, business and sports, including Thomas Meyer the Chief Operating Officer of Lotus F1, the conference aims to co-create an international community of interest, where leaders from varied sectors can learn from each other, improving performance in their own sectors and across society. 

The conference will be highly interactive and will invite the audience to explore different approaches, including a strengths-based identity perspective on leadership and relationships as well as the biological and motivational foundations of connectedness. It will in part build on research conducted with the Clore Duffield Foundation and the leadership programmes they have set up, providing an opportunity to shape future research and practice.
