Leaders of the Future

New market paradigms require new types of leaders to help organisations thrive in uncharted territory. During this workshop, Tammy and Jo from DPA offer a glimpse into the future. In bitesize interactions, using a comic book narrative and game format, they share research around six new leadership models that are thriving in some of the world’s leading organisations.

Working with other members of the group, from likeminded organisations, you will apply some of these new ideas to your own context and have the opportunity to ‘build your own’ model based on the traits that you see as most relevant for your business.

Key Learning Outcomes

By the end of the event you will have:

• Learned about some of the forces reshaping how businesses need to operate and how the most successful companies are responding to these forces for change

• Discussed some of the changes you are already seeing emerge in your own business and heard from other participants about their experience (peer learning)

• Understood some of the flaws in traditional leadership thinking and identified the leadership traits that most need challenging in your own organisation

• Explored six new archetypes for leadership, and offer different perspectives on leadership effectiveness for the future

• Reflected on real-life examples (case studies) of these new archetypes and reflected on your own examples and role models for these styles

• Developed your own leadership ‘character’ to help you navigate the next chapter of your leadership story

Event Content and Delivery Style

The workshop will blend high-impact insight distilled from decades of global practice in developing leaders with lively discussion and experiential exploration.

The combination of pace and depth that Tammy and Jo are known for will enable you to gain a lot of value in a short period of time.

By introducing you to rich stimulus, they will spark new ways of thinking and facilitate powerful conversations to make the most of the diverse leadership experience in the room.

You will leave the event with a refreshed perspective on your own leadership. You can be a powerful influencer in developing others as well as yourself, having explored what ‘good’ looks like for the future of leadership.

Who Should Attend?

If you are a human resource leader or a senior leader/manager and your job requires you to lead and engage teams, then this workshop will help you to think about new ways to do this and within these new organisational contexts.

You will find it particularly helpful if your organisation is going through change, needs to tackle new types of business challenge, or perhaps requires a different approach to leadership than in the past.
