MBA Preview Day 21 May 2016

The aim of the Henley MBA UK Open Day is to provide you with a flavour of the Henley MBA experience. Our May Preview Day will be at our Greenlands campus in the UK on Saturday 21 May 2016 from 08.30 to 15.00.

The day will include a taster lecture from Dr. Peder Greve, Globalisation – myth or reality? Are we living in a globalised or a regionalised world? How many multinational firms pursue truly global strategies? What is the impact of globalisation on business and society today?

In this session we will explore the concept of globalisation and its impact on the multinational enterprise. Based on theory, data, and reflections on current developments around the world, we will discuss different perspectives on globalisation and how globalisation affects the strategies of multinational enterprises. We will also examine research evidence on how globalisation shapes the contemporary international business environment and debate the challenges that lie ahead.

This session is an excerpt from the International Business module at Stage 2 of the MBA programme.

Dr. Peder Greve Lecturer in International Business. His research provides insights into the causes and effects of international mobility and diversity in management teams at multinational enterprises, and how the composition of management teams affects internationalization strategies and performance. Peder teaches International Business MBA programmes at Henley Business School.

In addition to this, you will have the chance to hear from members of the Henley Alumni about their experiences on and after the programme. We’ll follow the session with lunch in our Riverside restaurant and a tour of the Greenlands campus.
