The Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship, supported by the Berkshire Business Growth Hub, Vital Six and Thames Valley Science Park has created a series of talks that puts the spotlight on leadership and engaging SMEs.
The Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship is leading the ‘Talks on Enterprise Development’ series to put the spotlight on leadership and engage with SMEs by providing a forum for inspirational talks by SME leaders, sharing their stories of high growth SME businesses.
The Henley Business School is delighted to welcome Matt Franklin to deliver the ninth talk in the series, titled 'Creating opportunity from adversity'. Matt is Managing Director of Roc Technologies, a business process transformation specialist and multi award winner. In April 2017, the Financial Times ranked Roc Technologies 17th in 1,000 fastest growing businesses in Europe.
Matt's talk will cover his role as MD, the inspiration behind Roc Technologies' growth and the company's recognition through numerous awards, including winning the most innovative technology company award at Southern Tech 100 Awards in March 2017.
Before Roc, Matt was the founder and Managing Director of Prime Business Solutions, which he grew from zero to one of the UKs most respected system integrators in the space of eight years. The company was subsequently acquired by a large integrator in 2004. Matt remained with the integrator and held several senior management and business development roles.
