"No, not an “Iceberg” from Greenland, an Iceberg Lettuce! What does the humble underpinning of a classic prawn cocktail have to do with supply chain design and the MBA? Well, it’s your chance to find out.

Professor Marc Day will pitch an engaging 'take' on a headline concept for supply chain management and connect it to business strategy. He’ll use a living, breathing lettuce, a short video and rely on plenty of audience interaction.

Come along and find out how the lettuce can make you a more unique and superior performer!

One final thing: a warning in advance – a lettuce will be harmed in the process of this taster lecture.

Professor Marc Day, Professor of Strategy and Operations Management at Henley Business School, is an experienced scholar, consultant and teacher in the areas of operations management and strategy. His particular interest is how organisations co-create value with suppliers, and how organisations configure business unit strategy using a capabilities-based perspective. He is a well-respected educator, and both designs and delivers programmes for corporate clients, MBAs and DBAs at Henley. Marc is a member of four journal editorial boards, and an experienced broadcast media commentator in the areas of strategy, operations and procurement. He also undertakes a wide variety of consulting assignments, ranging from intensive board-level strategic reviews through to detailed operational assessments of business and supplier performance. Marc holds a PhD in manufacturing strategy from Keele University.

We look forward to seeing you at this session!
