Responding to Resistance to Change

Responding to Resistance to Change

With Mike Price and Nathalie Ross-Metcalf

Continuing and developing our series of change events, this event is designed to make you think differently about resistance to change, and how you respond and react. It’s practical and challenging, and will work on your own examples.

Are you meeting resistance to your efforts to bring about change in your organisation or team? What’s your response? Are you getting frustrated – having tried to overcome the resistance?

To get a different result you need to do something different. For example, redirecting your focus so that you’re not confronting the resistance head on can help. Resistance may even be a positive sign!

This action-orientated workshop aims to help you understand how resistance arises in individuals and groups and what you can do to respond.

Is this for you? Yes – if you’re a senior leader bringing about change but meeting resistance and feeling frustrated and stuck! Please bring your examples to the workshop and be ready to be supported and challenged by your fellow participants and the tutor.
