Building e-competencies for business growth
Building an e-competent workforce with strong e-leadership is seen as something SMEs need to do to succeed in today's increasingly digital and compeitive world. Successful SMEs, in particular those in the technology sector point to having an e-competent workforce and see this as crucial for business growth.
The EU has highlighted in it's communication 'e-skills for the 21st century: Fostering Competitiveness, Growth and Jobs' that e-skills including e-leadership skills are crucial for businesses seeking to be competitive and grow.
This event brings together SMEs which have built an e-competent workforce and leadership which are driving growth to share their story and provide insights into aspects from recruiting e-skilled talent and training in e-skills to use the internet and harnessing new technologies for competitive advantage.
The purpose of the speakers' panel will be to deliver insights into the use of ICT in business today, and how SMEs are building e-competencies to take advantage of the digital tools that are available and being introduced.
Featuring speakers from different business sectors the event provides a valuable comparison and benchmark for SMEs building e-competenet workforces.
Speakers will be announced closer to the date.
