The Henley Partnership - 'Using Neuroscience to Accelerate Talent Development' with Charlie Unwin

Neuroscience is not a fad. Understanding its importance, and learning how it can be applied, gives leaders valuable insight into people and how to manage them better. Join this session for practical ways to better grow your own talent.

Neurology as a science is now well established, but the art of applying neuroscience to business is just starting to be taken seriously. Why? Because up until now we have relied on “models” (normally of the four-box variety) to approximate our understanding of concepts such as skill development, change management, team performance, emotional intelligence etc. Neuroscience however allows us to understand behaviour at its essence and therefore accelerate the neurological changes that equate to high performance.

Charlie has built a strong reputation applying neuroscience principles within talent programmes for global organisations (including retail, financial services, law, the military and health care) as well as some of GB’s most successful Olympic teams. You will not need a PhD for this event, rather an open mind and an appetite to think differently.
