The Language of Leadership (Part Two)

With Simon Lancaster

Building on the thinking and practice of ‘The Language of Leadership – Part One’, this event will help you to construct your own personal style, speeches and stories. This immersive event uses a case study to put the principles into practice in Simon’s unique way.

Every now and then, business leaders can be thrust into the spotlight when they least expect it. The market suddenly changes. Finances take a turn for the worse. A crisis blows up. It is during tough times that a leader’s communication skills are really put to the test: when the market is demanding reassurance, the press are searching for answers and employees are looking for inspiration. Some leaders rise to the occasion, others fall by the wayside. How would you respond? What would you say? Would the words you come out with leave people inspired, or would you inspire people to leave…?

This is an advanced communication course that builds on the principles and techniques set out in ‘The Language of Leadership – Part One’. This is an opportunity for you to hone, practice and develop your own leadership style through an immersive role-playing experience in which you will have the opportunity to develop your own leadership speeches, unique to you.

You will leave much better equipped to practice the Language of Leadership, with your own personal leadership storybook, that you will have ready to use if and when the spotlight does fall on you.
