The Success Formula for Smart Leaders

The Success Formula for Smart Leaders

With Professor Andrew Kakabadse

Andrew is a hugely engaging member of faculty, and will combine his impressive and robust research study with his own very practical experience of working with boards and top teams.  He’ll isolate the factors that make Top Teams successful, and provide a formula that defines value and success.

Creating value requires a different kind of leader. Delivering on the promises made to stakeholders and the markets is enormously challenging. Satisfying the CEO’s demands can be tense and frustrating for general managers and senior directors, and requires much more than just political and leadership skills. Successful value delivery relies on some very specific steps, and a distinctly different personal and organisational approach.

Drawing on extensive research (including a study of over 15,000 boards and top teams, and with 80 general managers of top organisations internationally), this event will examine successful value delivery, highlight what the best leaders do, discuss some common problems, and compare and contrast the experiences of the group with the findings of the research. It will enable participants to better understand how to develop their own approach to value delivery. This senior-level event is specifically for general managers and above (including heads of business line or function).
