Monday - Diamond Jubilee Garden Party

Her Majesty the Queen chose Henley Business School as the venue for the three-county Diamond Jubilee Garden Party. Over 4,000 guests came to enjoy events including a river pageant and RAF helicopter fly past.

Wednesday - Journalists' Day

We welcomed members of the press both from the UK and overseas, including Germany, Denmark and South Africa. They came looking for news stories, to engage with our faculty and discuss their latest research. They also listened to presentations from Professor John Board and Sir David Bell.

Wednesday - MBA candidates

Prospective MBA students came a little closer to the Henley experience, participating in a taster session with Bernd Vogel. They then met faculty, current students, alumni and the MBA team to discuss the reasons for choosing Henley above any other school!

Thursday - New MBA for the Music Industry

Some of the biggest names in music industry management, media and related brands came to discuss future innovation, pioneering methods and best practice within the field of music and brand partnerships. These included Sony, EMI, Warner, Universal, Ministry of Sound, Music Week, Coca Cola, Fosters, Blackberry and Diageo.

Thursday - Customer Management

Hosted by Capita plc, main sponsor of the Henley Centre for Customer Management, this annual regatta conference entertained senior executives to a morning of stimulating presentations dealing with different aspects of the customer experience. The weather stayed fine so that delegates were also able to enjoy lunch and a river trip over the regatta course.

Friday - Reading Real Estate Foundation

RREF raises funds for its educational activities and this year marked its second Regatta day for alumni and corporate guests. With the weather still in our favour, everyone involved enjoyed a champagne reception on the lawn, lunch, a boat trip and afternoon tea.

Friday - Corporate Regatta Day

Senior executives from leading public and private sector organisations attended an all day event in which they learned about, shared and debated the strategies for competing in an 'impossible' world. The day started with keynote presentations, continued with a range of topical roundtable discussions and concluded with a Question Time panel event.

Saturday - Members' Day

With just a single, brief downpour, this year's annual gathering of alumni and their families from the past 65 years was a great success. Over 1,000 people spent the day enjoying the grounds, the river and a range of activities, picnics, barbecues and boat trips.
