The Centre for Entrepreneurship, part of Henley Business School, marks its fifth anniversary this year. The Centre which offers modules in the practice of entrepreneurship and social enterprise to students of any discipline across the University of Reading has proved increasingly popular with students. Its modules and activities provide business related skills and access to outside practitioners and entrepreneurs from a wide range of sectors.

Professor Andrew Godley, whose own research interests cover the economics of entrepreneurship and innovation, now leads the centre as its new Director. He is also Programme Director for the School's new MSc in Entrepreneurship and Management which launches in October 2012. He commented:

'The Centre has developed remarkably over the last five years. Our modules are very popular with undergraduate students who enjoy their practical nature and the access to practitioners and entrepreneurs from 'the real world'. We are also fortunate to have a team with a wide range of research interests as well as lots of experience in consulting work with entrepreneurs and in running their own business.'
