We are pleased to announce the publication of the second edition of Professor George Tovstiga's strategy textbook , "Strategy in Practice: A Practitioner's Guide to Strategic Thinking". Published by Wiley, George's textbook explains strategy for practicing managers. The book uses a combination of analytical and intuitive thinking to explain real world situations and actual firm cases. The book is extremely readable and uses many up-to-date examples such as the challenges facing Blackberry, Nespresso and Amazon. It builds upon lectures and case discussion developed by Professor Tovstiga for the MBA Programmes at Henley Business School.

Courses in International Business are also able to benefit from the textbook by Professors Rugman and Collinson, "International Business", published by Pearson and the Financial Times. This textbook is now in its 6th edition and is also informed by lectures and cases developed in the teaching of international business strategy at Henley Business School.

In the School of International Business and Strategy we are pleased that both undergraduate and postgraduate students have access to such leading textbooks in the areas of international business and strategic management.
