Real Estate & Planning welcome our new PhD students

Real Estate & Planning are pleased to welcome our new PhD students with a "nice cup of tea".
REP hosted a tea party to welcome our new PhD students. The students (from the right) are Sebastian Chan who is researching "REITs Volatility Decomposition, Forecasting, Fund Flows and Technical Analysis"; Chen Zheng who is looking at the "Short-run Underpricing of Real Estate IPOs in China"; Chris Foye who will be "Examining the relationship between housing tenure and happiness" and Maxwell Okrah whose research topic is "Capacity of local government and participatory budgeting: analysis of fiscal decentralisation in Ghana". They are shown here with Dr Gianluca Marcato (far left), Director of PhD Programme. The group will shortly be joined by Nalumino Akakandelwa who will be looking at "Entry to Emerging Real Estate Markets: Analysis of Ex-poste Transaction Costs".
