Over the summer REP has welcomed three new Lecturer colleagues to the academic staff of the School:
- Dr Stanmira Milcheva (on the left of the photo) joined REP on June 1 and will be a member of the Investment and Finance 'group'. She has a PhD from the University of Regensburg on cross border linkages in money, credit and housing. She has already been up and down Snowdon on foot courtesy of the School, and there are photos to prove it!!
- Dr Ranoua Bouchouicha (on the right of the photo) joined us on August 1 and will also be a member of the Investment and Finance 'group'. She recently obtained her PhD from the University of Lyon 2, on the linkages between real estate markets and the wider economy. She was a regular visitor to REP while she was a PhD candidate, and in spite of coming to know us rather well still decided she wanted to work here!
- Johannes (Jorn) Van De Wetering (you can probably work out which one he is), who also joined us on 1 August, has been a PhD researcher in the School since 2009, and has just completed his PhD on Pricing Green Buildings. He will be a member of the Appraisal group in the School. He brings a particular expertise in Sustainability; one of the range of subjects in which we have a growing interest, in both teaching and research.
