CEAS jointly hosted a Seminar on the Financial Sector in the Oil Exporting Countries

On June 3, 2014, the Centre for Euro-Asian Studies together with the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (Moscow, Russia) and in association with a journal Emerging Markets: Finance and Trade hosted a seminar on Financial Sector in Oil Exporting Countries

On June 3, 2014 the Centre for Euro-Asian Studies together with the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (Moscow, Russia) and in association with a journal Emerging Markets: Finance and Trade hosted a seminar on the Financial Sector in Oil Exporting Countries. The discussed topics included factors of long-term economic growth of Kazakhstan and the requirements to the financial system; mega-regulation of the financial sector in the oil exporting countries (Russian case); International Financial Centres in Commodity Depending Economies. “It was a very interesting and useful event”, Dr Lúcio Vinhas de Souza, Managing Director, Moody's Investors Service said about the seminar. MGIMO -Russian strategic partner of the Henley Business School and the Centre for Euro-Asian Studies took an active part at the seminar.
