Dr Christopher Voisey, of International Business and Strategy, has succeeded in winning University funding through the Centre for Quality Support and Development.
The purpose of the funding is to enable Christopher to participate in the 2014/15 Leading Transformation in Learning and Teaching (LTLT) program run by The Higher Education Academy. The program focuses on leading change in the context of learning and teaching. It enables participants to enhance the skills, approaches and insights needed to lead course and programme teams through processes of transformation and innovation.
In his submission, Christopher emphasized four aims for collaborating with colleagues, namely (1) to make explicit and evidence linkages between taught modules and learning outcomes; (2) to further develop case-based teaching as one approach to achieving higher level learning outcomes; (3) to successfully introduce team-based learning; and, (4) to explore the packaging of taught modules into specialized "tracks" in our degree programs.
Dr Christopher Voisey will start the program in mid-November. To find out more about Christopher and his academic activity you can view his profile
