Thanks to the generosity of recent MBA graduates, the Graduating Class Gift 2014 has already raised more than £24,000 to support the Henley Alumni Fund. These funds will positively impact the experience of future students by giving them financial support to complete their studies at Henley Business School.
The Henley Alumni Fund was founded in 2010 through alumni donations, and since then it has offered bursaries and established a Hardship Fund to help students who face significant financial difficulty. Five MBA graduates of 2014 have benefited from the Hardship Fund during their studies, and all of them have in turn chosen to support the Graduating Class Gift to indicate their gratitude and support of future students.
The Graduating Class Gift is an annual campaign, first launched in 2012, giving graduating MBAs the opportunity to come together and support their business school, cementing their ongoing relationship with Henley and their commitment to business education. As they take the skills and experiences gained at the School into their own organisations and communities, they will also enable others to benefit from the Henley experience and education, irrespective of their financial situation.
In the three years that the Graduating Class Gift has run, over £55,000 has been pledged towards the bursaries and Hardship Fund initiatives funded by the Henley Alumni Fund which has helped nearly 20 MBA students to date.
