No 1. Accounting & Finance

Scoring high in all student measures, including for the quality of the teaching and overall programme, this reflects the attention given to constantly improving our degree programmes to ensure they are up to date and relevant. Innovations that have earned us the number 1 spot include partnerships with the likes of PwC and ICAEW that help students fast track their career, and state of the art dealing rooms that simulate the excitement of a real trading floor.

No 5. Real Estate & Planning

This is the third year in a row that our programmes have improved in the subject area of building and town & country planning. This year we are delighted to be ranked number 1 for career prospects. Henley Business School has been offering the highest academic and professional standard degrees through our Real Estate & Planning school for more than 45 years.

No 8. Business & Management

With an international reputation for developing the skills sought after by employers, it’s no wonder that our Business & Management degrees were ranked in the top 10 overall and in the top 5 for career prospects. Our programmes continue to develop and reflect the rapidly evolving needs of organisations of all sizes, from new start-ups to major multinationals.

As part of the University of Reading, we are pleased to have supported their eight place jump into the top 30 out of 116 UK universities, with strong scores for student satisfaction, graduate prospects and overall teaching.

Joe Doak, Head of Undergraduate Programmes, was delighted with the latest results. “We’re going from strength to strength and I’m encouraged that our students have recognised that in their responses. They have a fantastic experience whilst studying here and their job prospects are greatly enhanced by their own hard work and the terrific support they get from our dedicated careers advisors. In the current competitive environment the 'value added' we provide in this area is something we are very proud of. A good quality degree from one of the top Business Schools in the world provides a terrific 'starter for ten' and most of our graduates go on to achieve great things in their careers. I’m very much looking forward to meeting the next cohort of prospective students at our Open Day later this month."

The Guardian University League Table, 2015 is a highly respected independent guide to universities in the UK. It ranks subjects according to criteria including student satisfaction, career prospects, student to staff ratio and teaching.
