Informatics Research Centre and Industry partners joint MSc placement event in enhancement week

Industry partners presented joint MSc placement opportunities with Informatics Research Centre on the 6th November 2014, at Henley Business School Building.

Industry partners presented joint MSc placement opportunities with Informatics Research Centre on the 6th November 2014, at Henley Business School Building. The audiences are MSc students in programmes including MSc Business Information Management, MSc Information Management & Systems and MSc Business Technology Consulting. This event offered students opportunities of conducting their MSc projects by working with industries.

This event is hosted by deputy head of Business Informatics Systems Accounting, Programme Area Director, Dr Keiichi Nakata. This includes presentations from well-known companies: Accenture, HUAWEI technologies and Bourne Leisure. Topics discussed including company introductions, current businesses in UK and potential research projects and placement opportunities for students. Furthermore, students are also provided with opportunities to talk to company staff face to face. Following the event, students will be assessed and selected through interviews. The placement and related projects will start from April 2015.
