Real Estate & Planning hosts the third Annual Planning Futures Lecture

The School of Real Estate & Planning was pleased to host the third Annual Planning Futures lecture earlier this week.

The third Annual Planning Futures was hosted by REP earlier this week and went off very well indeed. Prof Hugh Barton delivered an inspiring talk on Healthy Cities: planning as if people mattered – reminding us that we need to make use of Health and Wellbeing as an important message to support good planning and sustainable planning outcomes. A full lecture room heard about examples from around the world, where efforts to plan for health have delivered real benefits: social, environmental and economic. Interestingly several of the places mentioned have been visited as part of our Postgraduate Planning programmes here at REP...http://j.mp/MScPlanning
