Real Estate & Planning PhD students invited to ARES conference

Four of our Real Estate & Planning PhD students have been invited to present papers at the American Real Estate Society conference in San Diego, California.
Congratulations to four of our Real Estate & Planning PhD students who have been invited to present papers at the American Real Estate Society conference in April. The students have all been awarded stipends towards the cost of travel to San Diego, California.
The students will be presenting papers related to their PhD studies. Dimitra Kavarnou, shown on the left of the photo, will present her paper "Assessing the impact of public amenities on house prices in the Greek islands". Jia-Huey Yeh (Joy), next to Dimitra, will speak on house price dynamics. Frank Ametefe will present “Toward a liability driven paradigm for DC pensions: implication for Real Estate allocations” and Danielle Sanderson, who also attended the conference last year, will present her paper "The tenant as customer: can good service improve Real Estate performance?”.
