Anastasiya Saraeva, PhD Student Marketing and Reputation

Doctoral Research Conference, 2014, is the first conference at the University of Reading I have participated as a PhD student. I presented a poster called ‘Message, Messenger and Reputational Outcomes’ (section Research Poster Competition). I am really impressed by the size of the conference and the quality of research, presented by PhD students. Sharing ideas and knowledge with other researchers give a great opportunity for future development. I’m already very looking forward to the next Doctoral Research Conference in 2015.

Irene Garnelo Gomez, PhD Student Marketing and Reputation

I have really enjoyed participating in the Doctoral Research Conference 2014. Even though it was a small event, I had the opportunity to receive very valuable feedback from PhD students and lecturers working in other schools, which has offered me a new and exciting perspective about my research and which may lead to networking opportunities. I highly recommend PhD students to participate in this kind of events as soon as possible, even being a 1st year student as I am, because explaining your topic to people coming from different backgrounds gives you the chance to practice for future conferences and congresses.
