Entrepreneurship Society, Build your idea event
20 October 2015
The Student Entrepreneurship Society kicked off their calendar with a sell out event.
Students from a variety of course backgrounds attended to be part of the motivational speech delivered by four inspirational speakers. Students were not only given tips about what to do with their idea but they were given first hand advice form the speaker panel about what they should do with their idea. Some of the key messages were 'Reach out for advice'. 'Get a mentor', 'Answer the six platinum question' and 'go for it'. The Society really tried to drill down that students should take advantage of their talents and the fact that they are young. University is the best place to be testing ideas - If you get it wrong, the support network at Reading will help you!
