Professor Masayuki Furusawa awarded “Best book of the year” by Academy of Multinational Enterprises

Professor Masayuki Furusawa, associate member of the John H. Dunning Centre, has been awarded “Best book of the year” for his book ‘Nikkeijin’ (Japanese Brazilians).
Professor Furusawa was an Academic Visitor to International Business and Strategy from April 2012 until May 2013, and is currently an Associate member of the John H. Dunning Centre. His book about the Nikkeijin (Japanese Brazilians) has been awarded “Best book of the year" by the Academy of Multinational Enterprises, one of the most prestigious academies of international business in Japan. The award was named "Itaro Irie Award" in honour of the late Professor Irie. He was a pioneer of international business studies in Japan and the founder of the academy. This is his fifth prize including "ABSRC Venice 2013 Best Paper Award".
