Professor Tovstiga elected for new role in Strategic Management Society Special Interest Group

Professor George Tovstiga, of International Business and Strategy, has been elected as of October 2014 as “Representative at Large” to the Strategic Management Society Special Interest Group (SIG) “Strategy Practice”.

Professor George Tovstiga, of International Business and Strategy, has been elected as of October 2014 as “Representative at Large” to the Strategic Management Society Special Interest Group (SIG) “Strategy Practice”. This will run for the period 2014 through to 2016.

As a representative, George becomes a member of the SIG leadership team. The primary purpose of this Interest Group within the Strategic Management Society is to act as catalysts for building and disseminating new ideas in research, practice and teaching around a set of core issues in strategic management.  George's involvement will be in the area of "Strategy Practice", which focuses on the practice of strategy in real business environments. His role involves providing support and guidance for the ongoing activities of the SIG.
