We send our congratulations to two Real Estate & Planning undergraduate students who have received the Chancellor's Award 2015. Sophie Dracup and Chang Li received their awards at a special reception hosted by the University's Chancellor Sir John Madejski and Vice-Chancellor Sir David Bell.
The Chancellor's Award is the most prestigious student award scheme at the University of Reading and recognises the very best and highest academically achieving students from across the University.
When asked why she decided to come to Reading to study, Sophie, who is a second year student on our BSc Real Estate programme, replied "Reading is renowned within the property industry as one of the top courses in the UK for Real Estate, and additionally offers outstanding tailored careers advice and networking opportunities for graduate employment."
Chang, who is in the third year of his BSc Investment & Finance in Property degree also received the award last year in recognition of his outstanding results at Part 1 of his degree. When asked about the highlight of 2014/15 Chang said "The highlight must be the insightful and inspiring discussions with three of my classmates in summer term. Several times we were struggling on a few essay questions until midnight, but we finally found it extremely rewarding." Other students might like to take note!
