Staff from REP attend official launch of the University's new School of Architecture

Real Estate & Planning's Head School, Cathy Hughes, said "We are looking forward to developing research and teaching links with our new colleagues in the School of Architecture".

Staff from the School of Real Estate & Planning were in London earlier this week for the official launch of the University of Reading's new School of Architecture. The event, which was held at the Royal Institute of British Architects, was hosted by the University's Vice-Chancellor, Sir David Bell, and attended by REP staff, Joe Doak, Cathy Hughes, Claudia Murray and Emma Street.

The School will welcome its first students in September 2016 and, after it has undergone a major refurbishment, will be housed in REP's old home, the FURS Building. Real Estate & Planning's Head School, Cathy Hughes (pictured here on the right), said "We are looking forward to developing research and teaching links with our new colleagues in the School of Architecture".
