Henley Business School alumni attended a special reception in Mumbai hosted by Henley Business School’s Dean Professor John Board and University of Reading’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor Vincenzo Raimo for an evening of engaging talks and networking. The event was held at Sofitel Mumbai BKC and took place on Saturday 9 January 2016.

Pro-Vice Chancellor Vincenzo Raimo opened the event by greeting alumni, commenting on how delighted he was to see so many past students of the Business School gathered together for this occasion. Professor John Board  was next to address the audience, giving a presentation on how Henley has evolved over the last 70 years to maintain its place as a world class business school. He then took questions from the floor. During the second part of the evening Professor Adrian Bell, Associate Dean, International and Head of the ICMA Centre, gave an engaging talk on "Modern Finance in the Middle Ages (plus a bit of football)".

The event concluded with a networking reception, at which lively discussions between alumni and Henley representatives touched on the next steps for creating an official Henley Business School India Alumni Group.

Apart from the many alumni from all across our programmes, we were delighted to welcome Richard Boocock, member of Henley Business School’s Advisory Board to the event. Richard, who is a frequent visitor to India on business, also offered to meet with alumni during his future trips to the country.
