Europe Highest Ranked Business Schools

The Financial Times European Business Schools Ranking 2016 places Henley among the top 10 schools in the UK for the third year running, and Henley also retains its top 40 position among European schools, placed number 37 overall.

The Financial Times European Business Schools Ranking 2016 places Henley among the top 10 schools in the UK for the third year running, and Henley also retains its top 40 position among European schools, placed number 37 overall.

The table incorporates results from rankings published by the FT during the year. Our strong performance is demonstrated in the underlying tables, including overall European top 20 positions for our Executive MBA (EMBA) and Executive Education programmes. Henley’s Masters in Management programme entered the rankings for the first time this year. Over the year the FT surveys both schools’ alumni as well as the schools themselves to gather data for these tables.

Highlights of particular interest to our students and alumni from these individual rankings include:

  • Number 4 in the UK for aims achieved
  • Ranked 7 in the UK for percentage salary increase three years after EMBA graduation
International credentials 
  • Ranked in the top 10 in the UK for percentage of international full-time faculty and international students
  • 38% of EMBA students are international
  • Number 5 in the UK for international participants (Executive Education Open programmes)*
  • Number 2 in the UK for international clients (Executive Education Custom programmes)*
Diversity and quality
  • Number 1 in the UK for the number of PhD and DBA graduates
  • Number 1 in the UK for percentage of women faculty
  • Ranked 4 in the UK for percentage of women students
  • 40% of participants are female (Executive Education Open programmes)*
  • 88% of full-time faculty hold a PhD
