As part of the outreach to schools across the Thames Valley, Jurek Sikorski visited Newbury College on Thursday 5 May and talked with sixth form BTEC students about how we can all be entrepreneurial and why it is important to demonstrate initiative in what you do and look for opportunities to deliver improvements and not be afraid to experiment. Some 30 students attended the talk.
Peter Doyle, Course Leader & Lecturer, Business & Entrepreneurship Students said 'We are very grateful to Henley Business School / University of Reading - whom have yet again - been hugely supportive of our Newbury College Students. Through sharing cutting edge best-practice and encouraging the process of creative and innovative thinking, this eye-opening workshop shoed our students alternative options for progressing their careers as entrepreneurs and provided food for thought when considering life after graduation'.
